There are only a handful of off-the-water events each year that are
truly “must-attends” for California bass anglers, and the annual Anglers
Marine Bass-A-Thon is most definitely always one of them. Now heading
into its 30th year, the 2016 installment of Bass-A-Thon, slated for Nov.
19-20, is sure to appeal to bassers of all ages and skill levels and it
is shaping up to perhaps be the best edition yet.
With over 90 vendors set to be on-site along with seminars and
workshops hosted by some of the biggest names in the sport, it’s safe to
say that if you’re remotely into freshwater bass fishing, you’re going
to want to make a full day of it at Bass-A-Thon. There will certainly be
plenty of things to grab your attention at the event.
If you’ve ever wanted to personally pick the brains of pros and well
known bass fishing gurus to add to your skill arsenal, Anglers Marine’s
Bass-A-Thon is the place to make it a reality. The many seminars are
always a huge hit with the crowds and this year’s lineup of seminar
speakers is sure to impress. Appearing on the main seminar stage at this
year’s event are Jimmy Houston, Rick Clunn, Shaw Grigsby, Chris Zaldane
and defending U.S. Open champion, Roy Hawk, just to name a few.
And if you’ve been thinking about taking the plunge and buying
yourself that new bass boat, well, Bass-A-Thon will have some of the
best deals of the year on Nitro, Ranger and Triton boats.
The doors will open at 8 a.m. on Nov. 19-20 and the Bass-A-Thon will
close at 5 p.m. each day. The event is free to the public, so if you
have the slightest interest in bass fishing, this is certainly a
must-attend event. |
