| It's an exciting time to be excited about saltwater; no doubt working on this issue is going to go down as the one where I realized that it's going to be a busy season.
I haven't been this excited about a season in a long time. It's going to be all good. It is all good now. No rockfish, all good stuff: seabass, bass, 'cudas, halibut and just enough yellows to wonder where all the meat is? So far all the best fishing is on beach, opposed to the islands, like many seasons gone by.
But something bad happened today. My little Capo Beach lookout spot now has chain fence and NO TRESPASSING signs.
Here's to looking at the Dana Point to Mateo check spot.
