Wells was my first client with my new One Man Charters skiff fishing trips. He also scored his first seabass, a solid 45ish pounder that ate a white Salas 7X heavy with a few prime fresh frozen squid pinned on it. 

He pulled hard and kept it out of the thick of the kelp and then sawed through a little bit to get his first biscuit. It's a fish neither of us will ever forget. I'll never forget how the conditions changed with the tide, and the fish bit like clockwork right on the high tide swing. And I'll never forget how rewarding it was to see a man achieve a goal that he was willing to put some time and bucks towards. 

Wells? Well it's his first seabass on his first trip trying for them and the thing was a good one. We were both psyching.
