| Just got up to Oxnard to cover tomorrow's WON/Mercury Channel Islands Shootout. Fished seabass last night with a buddy named Steve and put him on his first seabass, and first limit of seabass (no talent at all on the boat handler's part, the spot came from a handoff that I was very appreciative for).
So the blog is on the back burner and it's time to grab a few hours before getting up at 2 a.m. to get the Shootout stage set along with fellow staffers Ben Babbitt and Chuck Buhagier.
