Sunday Calls

Nothing, really
Had kind of an interesting week, one filled with broken sleep and short nights thanks to a reverse 1.5-day trip on the Options where the boat broke, waking up super early to finish my weekly writing assignments/get down to San Diego to fish yellowtail with some late night poker and getting up earlier than usual to be on Let's Talk Hook-Up with my bud Greg Trompas this morning also thrown in the mix.

Of corse broken sleep and being sleep deprived has always been a common theme to my life, so it really was no biggie--especially since a mega Saturday power nap just got me back in the game. And now that fatherhood is rapidly approaching I am told that sleep is going to become a thing of the past.

On the radio show this morning one guy asked what the biggest tip I could give was (or something like that). My answer wasn't "cast further" or "bait selection" or "use fluorocarbon." Rather the big tip was that anglers should strip away rules from their fishing. It might sound strange, but I see it all the time: people do things a certain way 'cause that's how they have always done them.

I've written this before: the fish have no rules. Neither should you.

So that's it for this lazy Saturday morning. Hopefully you got out there this weekend!
