Sorry the blog hasn’t been updated daily the last few days. We’ve been enjoying the 8.77-pound whopper and figuring out this parenting thing.
Thanks to all who said congrats. (Apparently all it takes is birth to get some comments on the blog.)
While I’ve been kind of out of the fishing loop, the yellows going off around the Rockpile yesterday was a great sign of things here and to come. Then there’s been some great bass fishing (the Sum Fun had over 100 calicos for the first time this spring), budding island bites and the standard local seabass fishing and the drama that goes with it. But the best is yet to come.
I’m going to go ahead and say it: it’s going to be a great season. Anyone who has had a tough couple of seasons should be able to more than make up for it this spring.
Catch one for me!
