FRESNO — King Salmon are being caught at depths to 65 feet on white hoochies behind a large Sling Blade, small spoons, spinners or anything white fished near Zebe Creek near the Power Lines at Pine Flat Reservoir, said Patrick Movey of the Fishermen’s Warehouse in Fresno.

The trout are still in 20 feet of water hitting Wedding Rings/nightcrawler combination as the best offering.

The most consistent bass bite remains on the bottom with plastics, said Movey. The fish are 20 to 40 feet deep and are being caught on Alabama Rigs, drop-shot, jigs, Brush Haugs, dartheading Pro Gold worms or green wenies as they move up in a pre-spawn stage.

The bass are still on the small side with mostly spotted bass being caught, and a 5 bass limit going from 6 to 7 pounds.

The lake is 60 percent full and stands at 873.28 feet.
