Western Outdoor NewsPublished: Jun 28, 2017

Rolls out new models and upgrades

Graftech has been building rods for over 20 years, and all of its models are designed specifically for the needs of the Southern Californian fisherman. Always staying ahead of the curve, Graftech is unveiling out many new improvements and designs for this upcoming season.

“We eliminated the cork handles on our rods and replaced them with X-wrap shrink tube,” said Graftech’s Rick Ozaki. “In the past, we had many issues concerning the guides we used (rings popping out), and we solved this problem by switching to SeaGuide fishing components so guides do not break and the ring inserts ado not pop out. All our new models now also come with SeaGuide reel seats.”

The available models include an Offshore Series for big game, Jig Series for surface iron anglers, Inshore Series for local applications, Wallbanger Series for the breakwater, bay and Kayak anglers and now an 8' Spinning Series for even heavy duty popper fishing. It's safe to say that there's a Graftech rod for every type of Southern California Saltwater Fishing situation. Reasonably priced from only $149.99 to $169.99, they're just arriving at Turner's Outdoorsman and other fine tackle retailers throughout Southern California!
