You’ve heard about the incredible fishing off Mag Bay in the fall.
Now’s your chance to get in on the action.
WON and Mag Bay Outfitters are teaming up for what’s sure to be a dynamite trip. This is a rustic deal for those that want old school Baja, enjoy solitude and are willing to be troopers in order to score.
If you’re looking for cozy comfy Cabo type accommodations, this is not the trip for you. If you’re looking for easy access to the super fertile fishing grounds around Mag Bay in the fall, this IS the trip for you.
The logistics of fishing the waters off Mag Bay has always been tricky. That’s where the good folks at Mag Bay Outfitters come in. They offer cabins, a dining hall, taxis and of course the fishing boats necessary to hunt the offshore waters for wahoo, marlin, tuna and dorado.
Fishing is obviously fishing, but in October it can be off the charts.
Here’s the scoop……
— Main Group flies from LAX to Loreto on Wednesday Oct 16.
— Mag Bay Taxi picks up main group and spends the first night in several casitas in Lopez Mateos
— Group departs from Lopez Mateos on Thursday the 17th and fishes their way south and ends up on Mag Bay island that evening. They will then stay on the island and fish from the island on the 18th, 19th and 20th. Group will return to Lopez via land taxi on the afternoon of Sunday 10/20 (tides are very low that afternoon, making land crossing possible)
— Mag Bay Taxi takes main group back to Loreto airport on Monday 10/21
— Pricing includes: Taxi ride to and from Loreto with the main group that flies from LAX to Loreto on Wed 10/16 and returns on Monday 10/21, meals, fishing, island transfers Does not include alcohol or air fare.
