SEAL BEACH -- The 20th annual WON Squid/WSB Seminar in Seal Beach, hosted by Pat McDonell of  WON, Capt. Mark Wisch of Pacific Edge and videographer Danny Jackson, is slated for Thursday, April 15, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Seal Beach Church of Religious Science.

The cost is $15 online and by check mailed to WON submitted by April 9, 2010, or $20 at the door.

The annual "Candy Bait" seminar has become a tradition for many Southern California saltwater anglers and for those wanting to catch the elusive white seabass at our nearby offshore islands. This year the program has been expanded to include not only how to catch squid but also the tools and techniques required to catch WSB.   Our team of experts will show you the tackle needed and gear needed, and more importantly how they like to rig it for success.

You can sign up now online at www.wonews.com under “events,” or you can mail your check by April 9 to: Western Outdoor News Squid Seminar, P.O.  Box 73370, San Clemente, CA. 92673. The church is located at 500 Marina Drive, Seal Beach CA, 90740.

If space is still available on the day of the seminar the cost at the door increases to $20, so we encourage you to sign up now online and reserve your spot.
