DANA POINT — On Sunday, July 28 from 4 p.m. to 8 at the Dana Point Yacht Club, Luke Burson will be placing his bets on another great casino night for the Orange County chapter of Coastal Conservation Association-California’s annual fundraiser.

placeyourbetsPLACE YOUR BETS! — CCA Casino Night is set for Sunday, July 28 at the beautiful Dana Point Yacht Club. Hosted by the Orange County chapter, proceeds will support CCA-CAL’s many projects to enhance fishing in the state.

The Chapter Vice-President is thrilled with the venue, which is a step up in elegance from prior years. “The Dana Point Yacht Club is a beautiful facility on the island, it’s stunning,” he said. “We couldn’t have found a better location.”

The event includes dinner, beverages, raffles, auctions and gaming fun. Dinner will be courtesy of the Harbor Grill. “It’s one of the finest restaurants in Dana Point. The owner is a fisherman. He’s committed (to supporting CCA), he shows up and cooks,” Burson said.

Raffle and auction prizes include charter and sportboat trips, reels and rods including custom models, tackle and accessories.

Everyone is welcome, whether they are new to CCA-CA events or veterans of the organization that works to protect recreational fishing interests, which includes projects such as partnering with programs such as the White Seabass Enhancement Program (OREHP). Funds raised will support CCA’s many projects to enhance fishing in California.

Admission includes dinner, 2 beverages, $50 in gaming chips and an annual membership to CCA (or an additional year on your current membership) for just $100/person or $1,000 for a VIP table of 10. Tickets are available online by going to Coastal Conservation Association of California on Facebook, online at cca2019.eventbrite.com or in person at the door.
