SACRAMENTO — SB 1221 (Lieu), legislation that would outlaw the use of dogs for hunting bears and bobcats in California, passed off of the Senate Floor on May 21st on a 22 to 16 vote. The bill now moves over to the Assembly, where its first stop will be in the Assembly Water, Parks and Wildlife Committee in mid-June.
California Outdoor Heritage Alliance (COHA) announced, "It is critical that members of the Assembly Water, Parks and Wildlife Committee hear from you. CALL and WRITE the committee TODAY!
