Salmon are thick all up and down the coast!

SACRAMENTO — All the ports are reporting great salmon fishing, so almost any port from Monterey to Eureka will probably put anglers into good to great salmon fishing.
So far, the ocean salmon season has been one for the record books, and on July 6, when the keeper salmon size limits drops to 20 inches, even high keeper counts are expected!
Be prepared for big salmon and crazy action, as the fish are getting bigger and full of energy, and many anglers are losing more fish than they are catching.
