My buddy and I were at DVR today 4/18/12 with my 4 year old daughter and had a blast catching a bunch of stocker bows! The Fish and Game must have just done a plant because they were thick from shore second cove down. We tried not to catch a fish with everything in our box but everything worked. It was Power Bait, lures, jigs, etc... We had a few rods with cutbait setup for stripers but they were after the stockers. We saw 2 huge explosions of stockers being eaten right from shore during a 4 hour period. Anyway, here's a couple of pictures. She had a blast!!

We had a great day at Lake Hodges today. The day started off slow, but once we found the right spot we caught 25 to end the day with my son, Troy, catching this 7-pound on 4-pound-test. Our best bait turned out to be a nightcrawler, but caught a few off plastics, also. Look forward to going back soon.

Got this 17-pound gobbler hunting with Steve Seitz & Ric Beutel of H & G Marketing at their place outside of Atwood, KS. Fantastic turkey hunting in that area with large birds everywhere.
