I fished Lake Skinner Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10 from 6 a.m. -10:30 a.m. on both days. Finally got this one to bite at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday. It ate my 5-inch Senko worm attached to 6-pound-test line.

Eagle Lake Opener


Mike Cornelius (my husband) took Karen Martinez and I out in his boat. We landed these trout at Eagle’s Nest using orange needlefish and bikinis  We used orange needlefish and bikinis. We celebrated our catch by smoking cigars!

The white seabass bite is on aboard the Pacific Eagle out of Ventura Sportfishing with Capt. Mike Mings. Fish ranged from 35 to 50 pounds at least!
