WON PHOTO BY JIM NIEMIEC BLUEFIN POP UP INSIDE 100 MILES Spots of breaking bluefin tuna rewarded anglers on extended day trips with some hefty tuna. Scott McLaughlin of Holtville hooked this 37-pound bluefin what sucked in a lively sardine fished off the stern of the sportfisher Prowler operating out of Fisherman's Landing. In addition to bluefin there were also yellowfin tuna caught by the fleet with some kelps holding yellowtail.
