Equipment Review: Lowrance FishReveal

Western Outdoor NewsPublished: Mar 28, 2018

Smart target viewing is here!

See bottom structure in even greater detail and get simpler navigation when you update compatible Lowrance displays with the new NOS59 software release. At the heart of the release is FishReveal smart target viewing, an exciting new sonar feature for Lowrance Elite-Ti, HDS Carbon and HDS Gen3 displays. These fishfinders also get a sizable bump in automatic navigation and map readability through the addition of C-MAP Easy Routing, Navionics® Dock-to-Dock Autorouting capability and the new C-MAP navigation palette. Plus, HDS Carbon gets massive enhancements to any high-frequency imaging (scanning sonar) transducer plugged into it such as the StructureScan HD or StructureScan 3D.

Combining crystal clear CHIRP sonar fish targets with superior, high-resolution views of bottom detail, structure and bait fish, FishReveal is a revolutionary new way to look at your fish finder. Boosting solid sonar returns and minimizing weaker ones results in clearly separated large fish targets from smaller bait fish and bait schools.

Also, Lowrance has added dynamic color range and tone strength resulting in high-visibility contrast never before seen in scanning fish finders. The new high-visibility color scheme delivers industry leading quality, clarity and range with near-photographic images to each side and below your boat. This new technology makes full use of the dynamic color spectrum, producing richer images of structure with more detail and better contrast, and extending the visible range.

No other software update has offered more user-friendly functionality. Update to NOS59 today!
