Sign up your team before Friday, Oct. 5 and your team is entered in a drawing for a certificate good for a $1,450 charter, courtesy of Mark Rayor, who owns the three-Jen Ren charterboat fleet on the East Cape.

Capt. Mark Rayor has been in the money or close to it several years in a row now at the Cabo Tuna Jackpot, and won $132,800 with his charter team on the 35-foot Cabo sportfisher Vaquera. That boat is the one you will fish on with Mark Rayor if you win the drawing conducted at this year’s Jackpot. The team won that money in 2017 by taking four of the Day 2 tuna optional jackpots with a 239 pounder.

The Vaquera is the flagship of the Jen Wren Fleet, equipped with all top-of-the-line Accurate reels, Calstar rods, Simrad electronics, Frazier Gyro binoculars, a $50,000 Seakeeper stabilizer and much more.

“She is the flagship of our operation and the whole East Cape,” said Rayor. “Our day is from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and included is all tackle, cooler with ice, bottled drinking water, and snack basket with chips, nuts, cookies and granola bars.”
